Socks and Rocks
Grayson never put random objects in his mouth, except for a rock one time. Gavyn on the other hand, wants to put anything and everything is his mouth. At first, I thought maybe he had some sort of deficiency because he will put a rock, piece of paper or a wood chip in his mouth. I am thinking of pregnant woman and pica right about now. Then I thought about all the things I have caught him putting in his mouth. He would have a small Lego deficiency, a sock deficiency, a toy car deficiency, any plastic toy of Grayson's defiency... get the picture. I hope we outgrow this stage soon because I literally cannot take my eyes of him. Here he is caught red handed, and he actually looks proud to have a sock in his mouth.
"Is she looking at me? I really want to put this rock in my mouth." I know that's what he was thinking since I caught him with this rock in him mouth two seconds later.

shoes
When I saw this pair of "Dragon" Robeez at the Baby Gap, I knew they were meant to be on Gavyn's feet. Okay, that was little much... but I love these shoes and so does he. The dragons are like his two little friends that he looks at and plays with when there is no one else to play with in the car or stroller. He has gotten so many compliments on his shoes that if he was a little older, he would be conceited. They were a little big when we got them and now his toes are pushing towards the end. He might get another month out of him, if he's lucky. It just makes me so sad because he is getting so big. He is almost one already, gasp. I won't even go there yet. Anyways, I thought the shoes were worthy of a little more attention before they are put away in the back of the closest.

Moon Sand
We discovered "Moon Sand" a couple of weeks ago, and now we are completley infatuated. I had never bought it before because I was afraid it would be so messy. However, Grayson will sit outside calmly and quietly, and play with it for a solid hour. Talk about having a nice break in the day.
I finally broke down and put it in an old wrapping paper tub because it was a little messy and the concrete was becoming a little to colorful.
